		<description>Filing extensions are hazy - ask again later ;-)  The guy on the phone certainly wasn&#039;t encouraging or reasonable about it.  Apparently it&#039;s our fault for not noticing earlier that they were sending our post somewhere that we can&#039;t access for the last few years :-/

Filing extension is certainly my second preference.  First preference is that the system runs much faster than advertised and I can file online on Friday or Saturday.</description>

		<description>Doesn&#039;t the UK tax office allow for filing extensions in those cases? The US IRS is usually fairly reasonable about such things, as long as they think your intentions are good.</description>
