I am part of a group called "Active Transportation Alliance" here in Chicago and one of the things we do is actually consult with businesses and helping them become a bike friendly place. It is actually very inexpensive for a company to become bike friendly these days, and most major cities I know in the US have some sort of bike initiative. Also the government offers grants for businesses who want to become green. My last company utilised some federal grant money and built a really nice bike rack in the office, setup trainers so we could hook up our bikes and pedal for 5 or 10 minutes to relieve some stress. Here is a LINK from Active Trans that talks a little about this.

Another thing our building did was put up bicycle friendly signs and let people know to bring their bikes on in. The building was a high tech location with a lot of the corporate snobby types, which believe it or not, actually rode their bikes to work, in a suit :)
