I’ve just updated the online banking compatibility list after a report from Italy that Monte dei Paschi di Siena is not currently working for GNU/Linux users. Can anyone confirm they broke it, or tell us how to get it working, please?

FWIW, another Italian online banking service that Doesn’t Work™ is BancoPostaImpresaOnline https://bancopostaimpresaonline.poste.it/RBWeb
The most irritating thing about it is that it works only with Internet Explorer, but some users reported that they made it go using Konqueror in “IE user-agent mode”… somewhat like they’re checking whether you are using IE or not, without caring about other browsers actually being able to work with a stupid Javascript menu…
From email about MPS:
“I am stuck at the client certificate generation step, because the server returns an error claiming that my browser or OS *could* be unsupported, and refuses to go on…”
